halloween

Halloween is a time of celebration, these things are included:

Trick or treating

Wearing Costumes

Bonfires

Horror Movies

Food

Drinks

And a very joyful time. Halloween is on the 31st October. Oh yea! It also includes pumpkins like these:

It is usually celebrated in a big festival but some people just like to keep it quiet and celebrate at home. This day is very enjoyable and very scary hope you enjoy October 31st.

  1. Halloween is really starting to take off in Australia. My kids love it and their step-dad is from America so we celebrate it every year. I think the more people that dress up and go trick or treating the better it's a fun day. We have never carved a pumpkin but I think we might give it a go this year. Are you going to dress up?

  2. I've heard that the carved pumpkins are also called "jack o' lanterns".

    Does anybody know why pumpkins are a big part of halloween?
